Varna, Bulgaria

Varna province is in the North East of the country with a population of some 500,000, of which 70% live in its administrative centre Varna, the countries third largest city. The region borders the Romanian frontier and has a mix of pleasant and quiet village locations to the more popular beach areas of Golden Sands, St Constantine & Albena. The river Provadiyska runs thorugh the region to the Bay of Varna which is used for shipping.
