Protaras

Here you can find some of the best beaches that Cyprus has to offer. Protaras is a purpose built resort yet still offers visitors the sense of old Cyprus charm as well as offering a range of fashionable designer shops selling jewellery, clothes and shoes.
Only 10 minutes away by car from Ayia Napa, Protaras is a more peaceful resort. It is home to the magnificent Fig Tree Bay which boasts a 10 mile stretch of beautiful sandy beaches and can be found nestled between Cape Greco and the village of Paralimni. Protaras offers a variety of cuisine including Thai, Italian and Indian but it is famous for its freshly grilled fish which can be enjoyed in one of its many open-air seafood restaurants. In Protarus you will also find a wide range of shops, tavernas, nightclubs and bars.
