Spanish village chosen for ad campaignSpanish village chosen for ad campaign
Spain's tourism board has chosen the small fishing village of El Rompido in Huelva as the showpiece of its new global advertising campaign.
Those thinking of buying a home overseas may wish to add the village to their list of potential locations, as it could see a tourism boost following the exposure.
The area, which can be found on the western tip of Costa de Luz, will be featured in the worldwide print campaign, a move which Andrew Benitz of Titan Properties - who has its head office in El Rompido - said should benefit the area.
"Second home hunters are potentially missing out on one of Spain's hidden treasures," he noted.
And he went on to predict that the advertisements will bring some "much deserved attention and education" to the village.
The Daily Telegraph recently praised the Costa de Luz region of Spain, noting it will suit those who do not wish to holiday in an area containing "tacky anglicised cafes".
