Berkshire affordable homes on offer this weekend

A number of three-bedroom homes at George Wimpey's The Parks developments in Bracknell Forest, Berkshire, are on now on sale.

On Saturday June 21st and Sunday 22nd, the housebuilder will host a special weekend event aimed at first-time buyers who are interested in buying one of the properties.

Thanks to a deal with government agency English Partnerships, some of the homes at The Parks will be subsidised by up to 50 per cent.

This is part of an ongoing government effort to increase homeownership in England and it means aspiring homebuyers can purchase a brand new three-bedroom home from only £150,000.

A spokesperson for George Wimpey said the weekend would also offer an "alternative range of money-saving incentives" and activities for children to keep them occupied.

In addition to the three-bedroom homes, the Berkshire development also comprises two and four-bedroom properties, as well as two-bedroom apartments.
