Crest Nicholson boasts of high demand from investors

Residential property firm Crest Nicholson has said that strong rental markets at many of its developments have been established.

It believes that two-thirds of buy-to-let investors will be looking to increase the size of their property portfolios this year.

The probability of further rental growth and another Bank of England interest rate cut will help maintain investors' returns, the developer said.

One site that is likely to attract investors is Crest Nicholson's landmark Aspect development in Greenford, which boasts road network links to central London and Heathrow.

The popular development comprises one and two-room apartments and landlords are being urged to register their interest as soon as possible.

According to the British Property Federation, demand for rented property is now 25 per cent higher than that for privately-bought homes.
