Gerrards Cross apartments 'will appeal to downsizers'

Couples looking to downsize are being invited by one developer to consider its upcoming estate in Gerrards Cross in Buckinghamshire.

Banner Homes has announced the opening of a new show apartment at Rutherford House, which will eventually comprise ten two-bedroom apartments and four two-bedroom duplexes

Shelley West, sales director, said: "Rutherford House is superbly located for commuter links via the A40, giving access to the M25 and M40.

"The quality of the homes combined with the fantastic location means that the development is appealing to a diverse range of purchasers [such as] downsizers."

Each apartment will feature a designer kitchen and en-suite bedrooms, and every flat will be given an allocated parking in the secure basement car park.

Prices range between £465,000 and £720,000, compared with the average price of a home in Gerrards Cross which is £743,768, according to Home.co.uk.

Gerrards Cross, which is 30 minutes away from London by train, can be accessed via the A40, which connects to the M25 and the M40.
