Essex new-builds come with money-saving incentive

Homeowners hoping to buy a home in north Essex without the hassle of looking for a buyer for their current property are being urged to check out a new development in Saffron Walden.

Countryside Properties has launched Smooth Move, a part-exchange scheme aimed at alleviating much of the expense that is often associated with moving house.

Under the agreement, homeowners looking to move into Saffron Walden would sell their current property to the developer, thereby removing the risk of a collapsed sales chain and the cost of estate agent fees.

Yvonne Hudson-Green, sales and marketing director, stated: "There is no doubt that moving home can be hard work and for this reason many people are put off.

"Purchasers at Saffron Green who opt to use the Smooth Move service can get the best of both worlds - a brand new stylish home with minimal hassle and expense."

A number of four-bedroom homes are still available at the Saffron Green development and prices start from £299,950.

The new-build estate is a 90 minute drive from central London, although the city can be reached in less than an hour by train.
